Every driver is different, and we offer customized protection for every one! We will work with you to find the right automobile insurance at a price you can afford.
All Canadian provinces and territories require drivers to have mandatory coverage including third party liability, uninsured automobile coverage and accident benefits. Make sure you’re covered.
Liability Coverage protects you from damage you do to others or to property in an accident. In Ontario and Quebec, $1,000,000 liability is common, but at AGR Insurance Brokers Inc. we recommend that everyone should have $2,000,000.00
If you are involved in an accident where you are not at fault and you can identify who hit you, your insurer will pay for the damages to your vehicle without penalizing your driving record. In some cases, your deductible may be waived.
Accident Benefits (Ontario only)
The government includes basic medical benefits for all drivers to protect them in the event of injury. However, there are options to purchase additional coverage. We recommend you consider additional coverage, based on your health plan at work and your family’s needs.
Uninsured Motorists (Ontario only)
Experts estimate that 12-15% of drivers in Ontario do not carry insurance. You need protection from these un-insured drivers. Part of your premium is for this protection.
Collision Coverage (subject to your deductible)
If you are in an accident and deemed to be at fault, you need collision coverage to protect the physical damage to your vehicle. This also protects you in hit-and-run and parking lot accidents.
Comprehensive Coverage (subject to your deductible)
This coverage protects you in the event of a fire, theft, vandalism, falling or flying objects. It also covers glass repairs
Additional Coverage Options
Loss of Use (Rental Car Coverage – Ontario : OPCF 20, Quebec (Q.E.F. No. 20A)
Following a loss, this covers the cost of a rental car while your vehicle is being repaired.
Damage to Non-Owned Vehicle (Ontario : OPCF 27, Quebec Q.E.F. No. 27A)
This is the coverage you should have if you ever rent a vehicle. It saves you paying the rental car company insurance rates, which are usually per day. The coverage is good throughout in Canada and the continental U.S. (Subject to your policy limit)
You have earned a good driving record; we want to see you keep it. Claims forgiveness allows you to protect your driving record against your first at-fault accident.
Waiver of Depreciation
This coverage will waive depreciation on your vehicle (usually for 24 months). This means that if your new car suffers a total loss during the term of this endorsement, you will be able to replace your vehicle for the same amount that you have paid without being impacted by the depreciation of the car. In Quebec, the replacement cost option may also be available.
